Before bending the tubes, especially the brake lines for vehicles with plating/coating on the outside surfaces, oil the tube and grooves of this bending tool to reduce the surface scratching, and also helps to avoid obvious tube deforming (like kinking).

Furthermore, we are happy to offer pre-flared tubes that can be easily installed by DIYers so you don’t even need the flaring tools. All you need to do is bending and installing the tube directly.
